Leanne Wilson Physiotherapy

Biography

Leanne is passionate about neuromuscular physiotherapy and enjoys running, cycling and playing hockey in her free time. 
2018

Graduated with distinction from the University of Cape Town (UCT), then moved back to Johannesburg to complete her community service at Helen Joseph hospital, where she found her passion for Orthopaedic & Sports Rehabilitation.

Completed post graduate courses in dry needling and taping techniques.
2019
2020

Completed the Advanced Neuromuscular Skeletal (ANMS) course Module 1.

Currently finishing her Masterโ€™s degree in Exercise and Sports Physiotherapy at UCT, with special interest in running, as her research is on the Comrades marathon. Leanne has a special interest in sports injuries, with experience working at the Rugby Tens Championship and the Netball World Cup. 

2024
